Early bird tickets to Portsmouth’s live scare attraction Torment, sold out soon after release last month and due to popular demand, additional tickets to the much-anticipated attraction are now on sale at Wave 105’s website for a limited time only.
The Halloween event coming to Portsmouth’s Gunwharf Quays is the result of a partnership between the south’s leading radio station Wave 105, Gunwharf Quays and immersive entertainment specialists Secrets Beneath. Torment will run from Friday October 20 to Sunday October 29, 6pm to 10pm. Each sensory session lasts around 15 to 20 minutes and invites guests, to walk through a fully-themed Victorian manor house over 7000 square foot. Tickets are currently priced at £10.
Keith Penny, enterprise and events director at Wave 105, said: “Torment will be the south’s biggest Halloween event this year. We scoured the country looking for the right scare attraction to debut on the South coast and the award winning Torment was the one we chose to launch this genre of entertainment down here with more than a bang!
“The first round of tickets sold out very quickly and demand is already being referenced as ‘remarkable’ by industry experts. So don’t risk missing out, get your tickets now.”

The award-winning attraction uses lighting and sound effects, as well as smells, temperature control and live characters to fully immerse participants into the scary world created at its temporary home.
Torment dares the public to set foot into the haunted house of the twisted Lord Earlsford. In sheer desperation following the death of his young family, he unwittingly unleashed a host of evil demons into his home, where they stalk the halls in search of prey.
